He looks like such a friendly fellow. I'll bet he purrs like a motor boat.
His purr is actually rather quiet most of the time. I think it's his old age; his meow has gotten much more raspy over the past years (he never meows for nothing - he's always telling you something to which you must turn your attention) but his voice and demeanor are very delicate and intentional.
His friendliness is legendary - he's the ambassador of the house and the first one to ensure that any visitor is carefully inspected before receiving the Papa's Seal of Approval.
