Oh - I cheated and swiped this online...same lake, but this pic is of a much less developed area than where I am. I really like your pic of Orwell's writing hideaway - idyllic is an understatement. (I'm sure it's alot less so in the middle of a winter's gale though)
yup. and there are snakes too (just a wee bit poisonous tho. and if yo wear boots they aren't big enough to get above your ankles
Just a wee bit poisonous?? Normally I rather like snakes, but bitey poisonous ones are another matter entirely.
I am a lover of all Earthlings but my secret shame is my strange and unearthly loathing of snakes.
Am, you should caption the picture with the location ( and photographer-if known perhaps with a “via” link).
